Vertical Group Ltd. successfully completed a project to secure and restore the facade of the Public Procurement Agency building, located in Sofia, 4 Lege Street. The site is of public importance and is located in a highly urbanized environment, which required precise organization and strict control of safety at work.
The activities covered a facade area of 480 sq m, with the main goal being the removal of potentially dangerous elements and restoration of the safe condition of the external facade surfaces.
The activities on the site were carried out using rope access (industrial mountaineering), and certified specialists for working at height were used to work on the facade. The rope access method allowed for the effective and safe implementation of all facade activities in conditions of limited access and in a highly urbanized environment in the central part of Sofia.
By applying industrial mountaineering and facade rope protection, precise control over risky areas and safe removal of compromised facade elements was ensured, without the need for scaffolding or heavy machinery. Work at height was carried out in strict compliance with all safety requirements, with the teams being equipped with specialized rope access systems and personal protective equipment.
